AutFest TX Honorary Guest, Lindsey Nebeker

We are thrilled to announce our Honorary Host, Lindsey Nebeker, featured in the documentary “Autism In Love” which will be shown at AutFest Texas on November 12, 2017 at Alamo Drafthouse.  Lindsey will be joining us as a panelist for our women and autism discussion.

About Lindsey:

Lindsey is a Development Specialist at the Autism Society of America and remains actively involved in music, photography and freelance presenting. Lindsey was born in Tokyo, Japan and received her autism diagnosis at age Two. By age Four, she began to develop speech and was involved in several years of occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other various early intervention programs (along with her brother also diagnosed with autism and requires more intense support). She holds a B.A. Degree in Music Technology from the College of Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM) and she is a Partners in Policymaking graduate. Lindsey has appeared in Glamour, MTV, National Public Radio, Good Morning America, and the Emmy-nominated documentary Autism in Love.
When Lindsey is not reporting to her daytime position at the nonprofit sector, you can find her engaged in her passions of traveling, sexuality research, Japanese culture, photo-journaling, and composing music on her 1909 Steinway.
