This is our first live-streamed event of the year! Join us in person or on Facebook for a discussion on Taking Charge of Your Health & Wellness, geared towards helping autistic teens and adults. Parents/caregivers and individuals with autism will hear from Taylor Nutterfield, and Jamie Rock, MSN, RN. Taylor Nutterfield is a Recreation Therapist with Fresh Bloom. She will be providing practical tips for teens and adults on how to incorporate exercise, fitness, and wellness into your daily life. Jamie Rock, MSN, RN and parent of a child with autism spectrum disorder will be presenting on Adolescent Health Care Self-Management. She will be sharing tips on how to help adolescents transition into managing their own health care.

Jamie Rock, MSN, RN is currently conducting a study on adolescent self-management, open to adolescents 12-22. Both parent & child will receive a gift card for taking the survey. Email Jamie to participate at AutismSM-project@austin.utexas.edu.
