This workshop is an introduction to the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). It is an excellent starting point for parents, caregivers, teachers, and therapists. This training will define ABA and what makes an ABA program. It will cover the principles of delivering reinforcement, shaping, prompting, fading, and chaining to teach new skills. This training will also address determining the functions behind challenging behaviors in order to reduce these behaviors. Lecture, video, and handouts will be used. The workshop will include hands-on training to practice different skills and receive feedback from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Local ABA resources and tools will also be provided to attendees.

This FREE training is being provided to parents, caregivers, and educators of individuals with Autism. Learn the basics of ABA including hands-on practice with specific teaching strategies.
