The Autism Society of Central Texas is hosting a gala on November 14th at Brazos Hall to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. This event will not only celebrate the work this organization does, but also serve as a benefit so we can offer more recreational and educational opportunities, as well as provide support and advocacy. It’s a big event, and there’s a lot to know about, please read on below!
Attend the event: Would you like to attend the event? Tickets are $125 per person and include food and a drink ticket. We have a great DJ lined up and Pink Avocado is providing heavy appetizers. We’ll also have a silent auction with some amazing items! Attire is dressy/cocktail. We would love to see as many of you there as possible! Click here to buy tickets!
Volunteer before or at the event: An event this size requires a lot of volunteer effort! Can’t afford the ticket but want to help our local autism community? Please consider volunteering! We need people to work at the event in the evening, set up the day of the event, get silent auction items – (we have a list of specific needs), and run errands (i.e. pick up printed materials, decorations, etc). We’re also looking for a volunteer coordinator to keep track of everyone who’s helping! If you can spend a few hours doing any of these things between now and early November, please email Jacquie at jacquie@austinautismsociety.org and let her know how you would like to help! Thank you!
Sponsor the event or get a sponsorship: We are seeking business sponsorships for the event. Do you own a business that would be interested in sponsoring, or would your employer or organization consider sponsoring? Money raised here stays here, so it is a wonderful opportunity for sponsors to get recognition and see their money used locally! Sponsorships are tax deductible, and we have a sponsorship packet with with all the necessary information. If you know of a business that we could contact to ask for a sponsorship, please let us know.
