On behalf of the Autism Society of Texas’ Board of Directors, it gives us great pleasure to announce Joy Alexander as Interim Executive Director. Joy comes from both the profit and non-profit world with experience in multiple industries and was previously the Vice President of our Board of Directors. She holds an MBA with a concentration in Executive Leadership and is an autism mom.
We are thrilled that Joy has agreed to serve in this capacity as we continue to implement our transition plan to find a permanent executive staff leader who will meet us where we are and guide us to our goals. The Autism Society of Texas stays committed to improving the lives of all Texans affected by autism and will continue to do so in the same spirit we always have.
