Austin | Houston | Dallas | Virtual
The Autism Film Festival, known as AutFest Texas, was created by the Autism Society of Texas to raise awareness by showcasing films that portray life with autism in an honest and responsible way as well as films created by autistic filmmakers. The films we show feature a range of ages and abilities, challenges and triumphs of people living with autism.
Sponsorship opportunities are now available!
We are thrilled to announce the return of our in-person autism film festival, AutFest Texas, this Fall! We’ll be hosting the event in Austin at AFS Cinema on 10/2, in Houston at The Monarch School, in the DFW area at Studio Movie Grill (Spring Valley location), and a Virtual AutFest with a streaming link to view for a week from 10/29-11/7! (Viewers can watch from the comfort of their own home, from anywhere!) As in past years, the films will be about autism or made my autistic filmmakers! The event is recommended for those 18 and up due to some of the content and themes in the films.
We will follow local, state, and federal COVID-19 safety guidelines in place at the time of the events and reserve the right to require masks to keep staff and attendees safe. Should there be another COVID-19 outbreak, or any other unforeseen natural disaster, events may move to virtual/online only.
For more information about all of our events please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please plan to join us! Our Houston & DFW dates will be announced soon! Tickets will go on sale in July, stay tuned!
THANK YOU TO OUR 2021 AUTFEST TEXAS SPONSORS!
