Autism Awareness Training for First Responders
The Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) through its Texas Autism Research and Resource Center (TARRC) and Autism Society of Central Texas invite you to a presentation by Dr. John Sokol, PhD, Deputy Chief with Pembroke Fire Protection District and Executive Director of Prevent-Educate. org, in Illinois where he teaches Fire Prevention and Safety, will present “Autism Awareness and Interaction Training for First Responders” –
FREE Training for All FIRST RESPONDER personnel, firefighters, EMS/EMT, law enforcement, criminal justice professionals, dispatchers, search and rescue, community safety organizations, social workers, Emergency Room Personal, family member, caregivers. Refreshments will be provided.
