“Shibori” is a Japanese dyeing technique that typically
involves folding, twisting or bunching cloth and binding it,
then dyeing it in indigo. Sit with local fiber artists and create
your very own unique wall tapestry. Learn how to create
a traditional Sekka pattern, or make surrealistic spirals by
using techniques such as pleating and mooring. You will be
amazed at the endless possibilities.
We will meet at the front, I will be holding a sign with the Autism Society logo, then enter the exhibit together.
*YOU MUST RSVP IN ADVANCE TO ENSURE A PROPER HEAD COUNT. IF YOU DO NOT RSVP BY THE CUTOFF DATE, I CANNOT ENSURE WE WILL WAIT FOR YOU AT THE ENTRANCE BEFORE ENJOYING THE FESTIVITIES*
