Time is Now-
Welcome to Thrive:
The Next Sessions – We are working on the Transition Path for our Loved one – Creating a Vision for their Transition, 2020 Transition Goals, as well as, self-care focus for ourselves. (What??“we” are part of the equation?) Rosemary from Parent 2 Parent, as well as, other community leaders and speakers will be a part of helping us on this path. Please mark these NEW dates on your calendar (3/18, 4/22, 5/20, 6/17). It is the 3rd Wed of the month. We will be building on each session for a customized road map for you of the “Transition Picture”.
If you missed last session, we are sorry it was a great session and you can get caught up by doing the following:
- Think about yourself – what are some things that would make you happy that you want to do for yourself this year. Consider those things, and write down the important ones that “no kidding” you want to make happen this year.
- Begin creating a vision for your loved one and their Transition -what does that look like? Begin by drawing a picture. They will outlive us and it is important they get what they need to thrive without us. (Let go of being perfect- just take steps to formulate the best path for your loved one)
March Meeting Details:
Thrive Group Is:
Parents and advocates of neurodiverse adults of all abilities
Thrive Group exists because it takes a Village to make Transition happen
If the parents and advocates are thriving then we can reach farther and create more for our loved ones
One way of Thriving is by meeting with each other, sharing resources, and taking new positive action in our life.
