We hit the ground running this year! We kicked off January with two new in-person parent support groups in Central Austin and
Georgetown! We also had our first 2023 Seminars Across The Spectrum virtual presentation, “Medicaid Wavers & How To Get Your Child On The List” presented by Barbara Bush, President of Solutions for Special Needs Families. We also had our first 2023 Spanish language Seminar for parents and caregivers, “Manejo de Comportamientos desafiantes en el Autismo” presented by Ana Glasser, Executive Director of ABA Center for Excellence.

Registration opened for our Texas Autism Walk, happening April 23rd, 9AM-noon at Dreamland in Dripping Springs.
We ended the month at the Texas Capitol for the Press Conference to Address Violent Restraint of Texas Students to fight to protect students with disabilities. We were joined by our partner organizations Disability Rights Texas, Coalition of Texans with Disabilities, The Arc of Texas, Texas Parent to Parent, & Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities.
