Event Location
The bike ride and run will both start and finish behind the athletic/annex building of Georgetown High School (GHS). When traveling North on Austin Ave, GHS will be on your right. Past the main GHS entrance, there will be a sign for the event and a driveway into the Annex parking lot. This will be the only entrance and exit for vehicles during the event.
Onsite packet pick up, registration and volunteer check in will be located at the rear of the Annex building. The post-event party will also be held behind the building in the sports field.
Walk-up/Onsite registration: This is available but will be a paper registration form. It will save a lot of time if you can register yourself online before arriving & show us your confirmation (either printed or on your phone). Register online here: https://autismbikeride.greatfeats.com/

*Please note, we mistakenly posted a 9:00 am start time for the Fun Run on a couple of emails, but we want to give our bike riders plenty of time to get off before the Fun Run begins. The Fun Run will begin at 9:30 am.
A mechanic will be onsite near packet pick up starting at 6:30 to provide any necessary assistance. SAG vehicles and motorcycle safety units will also be out on course ready to assist you!
Parking
You will find free vehicle parking on the east side of the Annex building by the athletic fields (that’s behind the annex!). There should be plenty of spaces but we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your start time to find a spot, enjoy some coffee and get set for your event.
Traffic will be limited during the 5k which circles GHS. Please mind the traffic marshals and consider delaying your exit to enjoy the Resource Fair, Kids’ Zone and Food Pavilion!
Post-Event Party and Awards
We have a lot of fun planned for you to enjoy! P. Terry’s Burger Stand will have a trailer where you and your guests can enjoy complimentary burgers. Sandwiches and other food will also be provided! Food is available from 11 am – 1 pm.
The Resource Fair will be a great place to talk with local autism support providers and our sponsors. Next to the resources you will find the Kids’ Zone with fun games and prizes.
Top fundraisers, recruiters and social media gurus will be honored with prizes at the award’s ceremony at 12pm. This is also when winners of the raffle prizes will be announced. If you win a raffle, you must pick up your prize on event!
Fun Run frequently asked question: One Fun Run registration for an individual ($25) covers a family group. You do not need to register every family member that is walking with you, however, you will just get one goody bag/1 participant t-shirt per $25 registration. If you have additional questions please email info@austinautismsociety.org
Have fun out there!
