Our Wonderful Sponsors

The Autism Society of Greater Austin depends heavily on the generosity of the community.  In addition to our many individual donors, we’re also indebted to our corporate sponsors.

Brett Dalbey at the Cedar Park Arena coordinated the first Autism Night with the Texas Stars on April 2, 2010. Some of our families enjoyed their first hockey game that night while raising awareness and money for our cause. In August 2009, ASGA's Ann Hart went to Bike Night at the Twin Peaks Restaurant in Round Rock to pick up a $500 donation from members of the #1 Stunnas Motorcycle Club, who gave us the money to cover the base price of our upcoming picnic at Candlelight Ranch. Thank you Stunnas! Austin Subaru General Manager, Brent Baker, presented Autism Society of Greater Austin VP, Sandra Batlouni, with a $500 sponsorship check for the 2011 Austin Autism Bike Ride. The CarMax franchise in south Austin sent a dozen energetic volunteers to our 2010 Autism Awareness Bike Ride and followed up with a $500 donation after the event. Mike Pochkowski of Centex Green helped recruit riders for the 2010 Bike and donated a free carpet cleaning for our outstanding volunteer, Theresa Overheim. He also offers a discount to customers referred by the Autism Society! The Church Women United highlighted autism at their Human Rights Celebration on October 1, 2010. In addition to including two moving talks by Autism Society members in the morning's service, the group also made a $500 donation to the chapter. Pictured here are Cheryl Banks, CWU Board member; Ronnie Schleiss, Rene Craft, Ann Hart, and Gail Dalrymple of the Autism Society; and Pat Hochstetler, CWU President. On February 12,2013, New Jersey-based tech company, CommVault, sponsored a hockey-themed fundraiser benefiting the Autism Society. Over $2000 was raised in one night! Rebecca Pokluda and her staff have been faithful supporters of the Autism Awareness Bike Ride, providing financial support and rest stop volunteers in both 2009 and 2010. Jeremy of Pigment Dermagraphics (with Ann and John Hart) sponsored our 2010 Bike Ride. Angelia Sheets, Monnie Hightower, and Brittany Carson of the Pinup Salon on McNeil Drive sponsored a "Haircut-a-thon" on November 7, 2010 and raised over $300 for the Autism Society of Greater Austin. Atomic Tattoo and Tiff's Treat's made contributions to support the event. Rocky Stubblefield of Stubb's presented the Autism Society with a $500 check along with the promise to serve barbecue to the participants of the 2011 Austin Autism Bike Ride. VP Sandra Batlouni and President Ann Hart accepted the gift on behalf of the organization. Altar'd State at the Domain Shopping Center chose the Autism Society of Greater Austin as its first "Mission Monday" charity. After a very successful campaign, store manager McKayla Clancy presented affiliate president Ann Hart with a check for over $2800!
